Azrein Viewpoints

Listed below are the viewpoints of the different alignments of Azrein.
These are not meant to limit any Azrein in their beliefs and thought-processes. Like people, each Azrein will have their own outlooks.
Rather, I have attempted to outline the basic beliefs that each alignment hold true to help those who are wondering what each alignment means for their Azrein.
This being said, there are certain beliefs that each horse will hold true, depending on their aligment. If your Azrein does not subscribe to these beliefs, then they most likely should not be part of said alignment.

This post is dedicated to the viewpoints of Good Aligned Azrein on the subject of Chosen, and horses of Good, Neutral, and Evil alignments respectively. I have broken it up for ease of reading.
Statements that have been bolded are basic beliefs of Good Aligned horses. These are rules that they must live by in order to be categorized as Good aligned.

Chosen
Good Aligned Azrein support the practice of having a Chosen.
In fact, only Good aligned Azrein may have Chosen.
These Azrein support King Azreth, and humans in general. The believe in a cooperative relationship between humans and Azrein.
They do not necessarily have to actively participate in the war against the Six. However, they do support the the retaliation against the Six that are trying to destroy the bonds that they hold so dear.

Good alignments
They will generally get along. However, just as not all people get along, all Azrein don't have to get along. Even though two horses are Good aligned, their personalities might not coincide. However, it should be unthinkable for a Good aligned Azrein to think about retaliating against another Good aligned Azrein, or their chosen, in any permanent manner.
(A.k.a. A good aligned azrein will not try to permanently maim or kill another Good aligned Azrein or their chosen.)

Neutral alignments
These two alignments will get along except in circumstances that a Neutral Azrein takes a proactive stance on the side of the Six in the war. They are able to breed.

Evil alignments
Generally, these Azrein and Good Azrein will not get along. While they might be able to empathize with each other, and speak civilly to each other, their beliefs are too inherently different to ever become friends. Though a few may be able to set their differences aside, it wouldn't be common.

Special Circumstances of Bonds:
In the event that Chosen betrays their Azrein, and they become unable to see eye to eye over a situation, ties may be severed by the Azrein, and the Chosen cast away. This would be in extreme circumstances, (say, the killing of an innocent who meant no harm. Or the abuse of a loved one or child. Something so extreme, the Azrein is no longer able to be bonded to the human.) This is only in Extreme cases. Should you wish to have your Azrein and OC go this path, contact King Azreth for approval. Be prepared to state your reasons thoroughly.

Chosen
Sometimes, a Neutral horse does not know what a Chosen is. Or why a horse would want a Bond with one.
For those that do know, they are unconcerned with Chosen. In this case, they do not want one, but they do not begrudge those that have one.
To sum it up: Neutral aligned Azrein can not be Bonded with a Chosen.

Neutral alignment
They will get along as well as two different personalities are able to. This may be quite well, or horribly. However, they will not judge the alignment of another Neutral Azrein.

Evil alignment
They might be able to sympathize with the war against having Chosen, but they do not want to take any part in it. That being said, some might choose to carry a simple message to a horse from either side, or fail to give important information they know to help one Evil Azrein. Also, these Azrein are more likely to be tricked and used in the schemes of the Evil on grounds of trying to stay Neutral.

Good alignment
They might be able to sympathize in the war against the Six, but again, they do not want to take any part in it. There might be some Azrein that believe it is their right to choose to have a Bonded or not, and will help the Good aligned on this basis by helping carry information, or keep information from Evil Azrein. But they themselves will not choose to find a Chosen to Bond to, nor play a significant part in the war.

Chosen
Those Azrein that align themselves with the Six are terribly, terribly afraid of Bonding, knowing that they will never again be alone in their thoughts. They fear that humans will use them or cast them aside, and so out of anxiety and a false sense of pride they join the Six's ranks. The Six promise that the Isle will belong to Azrein alone, and that never again will a human neglect them. Fear breeds hate, and thats what happened with the Six. And with the fear they lay into the Azrein's minds, they find a foothold.
Simply put: Evil Azrein will not Bond with a Chosen. In fact, they will go so far as to attempt to harm humans, especially known Chosen.
However, not all Evil Azrein are out to look for a fight.

Evil Alignment
They will get along. Well, depending on the horse, possibly as long as suits their purposes. Again, personalities that clash just won't get along.

Good Alignment
In general, these two alignments will not get along. Evil aligned Azrein do not support Bonds and Chosen. They are willing to hurt Good aligned Azrein and their Chosen in the war against the Bonds.

Neutral Alignment
They will get along well with Neutral aligned Azrein unless they have been known to help support the war for the Good Aligned Azrein. However, Evil Azrein have been known to use any and all Azrein, whether they are part of the war or not, in their own scheming machinations.
